pretty awesome week

so i've been having a great week

and it all started with tuesday:

i have been given the opportunity to be the treasurer of the nonprofit minor student council. i will be put in charge of fundraising for the association which means that i'll get some pretty awesome experience for my future with nonprofits

and on wednesday:

i found out i got the job at the ymca back home!! yay!!

and on thursday:

i've been awarded a scholarship through the rec management department (fully described below)

Rulon Dean Skinner Scholarship

Youth Leadership specialization and Scouting Education majors only. Must have a cumulative 3.2 GPA, be actively involved in youth leadership, and show an interest in Boy Scouting. Special consideration will be given to students who have demonstrated an interest in pursuing professional Boy Scouting as a career. Applicants are to write a short essay indicating their interest and experiences in Scouting (as a scout or during internships or work experience).
