so technically i shouldn't be writing this right now seeing as i'm in class. however (mom and dad this point is for you) it has not STARTED yet. i figured i'd give a quick update as to what i've been up to.
tomorrow i officially declare my major. so as to not embarrass dad i dare not give you the full name of it. however it is recreation management: emphasis in youth leadership. minoring in non-profit management. heck yes. i'm hoping i get to work with youth, or at least that's my goal. in one of our classes today we actually had someone come in and discuss some opportunities for service that would lean towards what i want to do. sweet dizzle!!
life's good. work and school consume my days and i'm actually staying up to date with my homework and everything. hope it stays that way...

Renee, I am so glad to find your blog. :) Good for you for declaring your major. This is a big step. I have had some very skeptical/funny looks when people asked what I studied: Family Science. Hmmmmm. Sounds suspicious. Good thing I got a masters so I could focus on that degree. he he he... (And now I'm a mom so Family Science has come in handy.) Recreation Management sounds good. You'll have a fun life!
