over the course of the summer camp i, obviously, have developed some favorites. 3 of my favorites i gave nicknames to. i gave noah his first because it reminded me of someone little kid back home. then his friend sam asked why he didn't have a nickname and i said i called him samuel. to which he said, "but that's my real name! i want a nickname!" so he got his next. then a few weeks later noah told me that his sister maddy and friend owen were jealous and wanted nicknames. it was kind of fun. although all the other counselors were confused and didn't understand that 3 out of the 4 had requested nicknames, it kind of became a joke that i had given my 3 favorites nicknames. anyways...
so, i will start with my absolute favoritest:
this is noga (real name noah). he is the start of my nicknamed children. betsy and katy will understand where i got his name. he was the sweetest kid ever. we would walk the kids down the street to a pool for swimming lessons and he'd always walk with me. the last week he was here he started holding my hand on our trips. so cute!!

i miss him lots.
this is madge (real name maddy). she is noga's twin sister. the first day i met her she cried non-stop all dayand i was the one put in charge of trying to calm her down. she too became a quick favorite, especially since she stopped crying by the second day.
she was third in my nickname list (i was unable to get a picture of my other favorite, who got the second nickname: sampson, real name sam).
this picture was taken while she was in my art class. she doesn't think she's cute so she didn't want me to take a picture. i got another counselor to help me sneak one with her looking at me.
these two were not a part of my nicknamed children, but they are still favorites. they are best friends and are super cute together. they kind of are "dating" at least on the aspect that 6-year-olds know dating.
the boy, henry, stole my heart the first week. he's a handful but still an awesome kid. the little girl, caroline, had the best outfits and was simply a sweet girl. she was lots of fun and so nice.
this cutie is andreas. he would genuinely get excited to see me at camp and would run over and give me hugs. he's a little clingy but not enough to be annoying. he was in my art class this week so i was able to get an awesome picture of him, as well as an awesome dance video. hopefully i can upload that later...
i'm SO glad i was able to come down here for camp. these kids are super adorable and it's extremely sad how fast this summer went. i'm actually dreading it's end.
i guess i'll just have to check into working there next year...
